Nanoval & Ingpuls optimize supply chain for NiTi powder

Strategic partnership to optimize the supply chain for NiTi powder

Nanoval and Ingpuls deepen their partnership to produce high-quality NiTi powders for additive manufacturing more efficiently and shorten delivery times.

Nanoval and Ingpuls join forces for the production of high-purity metal powder from shape memory alloys

Nanoval GmbH and Ingpuls GmbH have entered into a strategic cooperation to further optimize the production and availability of high-quality nickel-titanium (NiTi) metal powder for additive manufacturing processes.

With the continuing growth in additive manufacturing, the demand for high-purity metal powders is constantly increasing. Particularly in the field of shape memory alloys (SMA), production requires close integration of electrode production and metal atomization. A traditional supplier relationship is often not enough here – especially in times of increasing requirements and scarce availability.

Long-standing cooperation to be intensified

Nanoval and Ingpuls have been working together successfully for several years. The combination of Ingpuls’ first-class material quality and Nanoval’s exceptional atomization technology has made it possible to supply customers worldwide with high-quality SMA powder. In order to efficiently meet the increasing demand, both companies have now decided to take their cooperation to a new level:

– Increase production capacities for an even more reliable supply
– Reducing delivery times to accelerate development projects for customers
– Optimized production processes that guarantee the highest material quality

These measures will help customers from the aerospace, medical technology, nuclear technology and research sectors in particular to bring their innovations to market faster.

Shared vision for the future

Christian Gerking, Managing Partner of Nanoval GmbH, describes the development of the partnership:
“For years, we had already been impressed by the capabilities on the part of Ingpuls to produce rods of difficult alloys for us. During recent reciprocal visits, we were also able to get to know the working methods, careers and teams of both companies. In the exchange on site in Bochum, we were fascinated by the consistent and thorough approach of the Ingpuls team during the founding and development phase of the company and also by the extraordinary dynamics of the company’s development in recent years, which can be attributed to the incredibly sustainable and far-sighted commitment of the Ingpuls founders.”

Dr. Christian Großmann, member of the Ingpuls management board, also emphasizes the advantages of the intensified cooperation:
“In recent years, we have successfully atomized a wide variety of shape memory alloys with Nanoval and have thus been able to supply them to customers all over the world.
customers from all over the world. The fact that demand from the aerospace, medical technology, nuclear technology and research sectors is highly diversified is very exciting and strategically valuable. As our collaboration with Nanoval has grown over the years, we have been able to define processes and production sequences in a strategic exchange that has enabled us to significantly reduce delivery times together. This is very important for our customers, as it helps them to speed up their development projects. Time to market is thus drastically reduced and everyone benefits.”

A strong alliance for high-quality SMA powders

With this strategic cooperation, Nanoval and Ingpuls are ensuring that the supply chain for high-quality NiTi powders becomes even more efficient, powerful and reliable. The partnership combines in-depth expertise in material development, atomization and production – setting new standards in the world of shape memory alloys for additive manufacturing.
