Ingpuls – History

Founded in 2009 as a spin-off to the Institute for Materials of the Ruhr-Universität Bochum, Ingpuls is now the only SMA manufacturer in Germany with the entire vertical manufacturing range from raw materials to finished components.

In addition to production, the work as a development service provider is particularly important, as it offsets any lack of SMA know-how in the development departments of potential users. This model has been implemented very successfully in recent years. The result has been that unique SMAs have been produced in Bochum since the end of 2016 for large automotive series in the world.
